High-Purity Standards offers a variety of Matrix Modifiers for Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (GFAAS) and Ionization Buffers. The cesium ionization buffer is recommended by manufacturers of ICP and AAS instrumentation. The lanthanum ionization buffer used in Flame AAS can be employed as a releasing agent for the alkaline earth metals, silicon, and aluminum as well.
